A bit of background.
The room is located on the third floor of a neo-classical townhouse in the Haringrode district of Antwerp. Built over a century ago, the house was originally designed by architect Jan Kockerels as his private residence. This is evidenced by the many details, which reflect both Neo-Classical and emerging Art Deco influences. Although the building is old, we have provided it with the comfort of modern standards, including thermal insulation, acoustic insulation between floors, proper ventilation, efficient heating, modern electrical systems etc. We live here for almost ten years and we are happy to share local advice with you.
